The Vipers have one more home game before the Christmas Holidays and it takes place on December 19th against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks!! It is going to be soooo exciting! And before the Vipers close their office for the holidays get in and get your tickets for the game against Sweden and the 2009 All Star Game! Make sure you have these two games on your wish list!! Tickets are selling fast and you know both are going to be awesome and I can't wait to show off our fans to the rest of the BCHL fans! Get to the Vipers Office before Friday and get your tickets!!!!!
One More Game Before The Holidays!
TEDDY BEAR TOSS NIGHT!!!!!!
My favorite night of the year is here! On Friday night when we host the Vees we will also have our annual Teddy Bear Toss!!!! Everyone is encouraged to bring a stuffed animal to the game on Friday and when the Vipers get their first goal everyone tosses their bears on the ice!!! The stuffed animals will be taken away by KISS FM who will in turn get them to the Salvation Army Vernon and kids who need them the most!
THEN on Sunday we host Quesnel which means another FREE skate after the game with the Vipers!!!! What a great weekend! I hope to see everyone here and don't forget to head to McDonald's on Mondays to meet some Vipers and get their trading cards!!!
CAPITALS ARE IN TOWN!!!!!
The Cowichan Valley Capitals will be in Vernon on Friday night, the Vipers only face this Island team once this year and it is going to be a good one! Safeway will be in the building and during the first intermission we will be doing the annual Turkey Toss!!! Every fan will have a chance at making their best paper airplane and you will throw it on the ice and try to land your plane as close as you can to one of the Turkeys! Another important date coming up is December 5th....TEDDY BEAR TOSS NIGHT! One of my favorite home games...we will also be collecting non-perishable food items on the 5th, 7th and 9th and on the 7th it's another Family Sunday game which means more FREE skating with the Vipers after the game all sponsored by Tim Horton's! Pheww, there is a lot going on in the next couple weeks....Oh! I almost forgot! McDonald's Trading Cards are in and every Monday you can meet a couple of the Vipers and get their cards ALL FOR FREE!!!! Check the Vipers website for the upcoming schedule! Well that's about it for now! I am going to watch the Vipers practice...looking forward to seeing all you Vipers fans this weekend!

Vipers Host Merritt
The Vernon Vipers had an awesome weekend winning 2 of their 3 games...4-1 over Westside and and an awesome 4-0 win at home against Quesnel. Now the Vipers will host Merritt on Friday and it is a very special night as we are raising money for the BC Children's Hospital. Save On Foods will host a Hot Dog & Pop Sale and be selling popcorn with ALL proceeds going to BC Children's Hospital! There will also be some games set up in the concourse where everyone can try to win some great prizes! The game is also sponsored by The Home Depot and presented by Vantage One so we will have a lot of great sponsors here and we hope to keep packing the pit with the greatest fans EVER!
Don't forget the Vipers Trading cards are in! Head to McDonald's every Monday to meet players and get their cards and the RCMP will also have cards, so if you happen to see any Vernon RCMP Officers, ask if they happen to have any Vipers Card on them.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone this Friday...and I heard there are only 2 seats left on the fan bus to Penticton on Saturday so thank you fans for filling the bus and cheering on your Vipers while they are on the road, if you want to take the last seats call the Vipers Office at 542-6022!

I am so excited for another family Sunday game this weekend when our Vipers host Quesnel! The game is sponsored by McDonalds so Ronald McDonald will be here and as always there will be a FREE skate with the Vipers after the game.
Right now the Vipers are in second place in the Interior and third overall in the whole league!!!! The Vipers have an awesome team together this year and as each game goes by it's getting more and more exciting! Vipers On The Road
The boys are on the road this weekend in Prince George and Quesnel, don't forget to listen to the games on KISS FM and on the BCHL Fanzone with the voice of the Vipers Todd Miller. As for home games, the Vipers will host the Salmon Arm SilverBacks next on November 7th, all the Vipers parents will be in town to see their kids play and a very special fan bus will be heading to Merritt on November 8th. all fans of all ages are welcome to come on the bus, up until October 31st seats are just $35 and includes your game ticket and some food! Call the Vipers Office for more information and to book your seat at 250-542-6022. Also during parents weekend their will be a silent auction during both home games to support Vernon's Woman's Transition House and don't forget on the Sunday game on November 9th the Vipers have a special Family Rate; $25 for two adults and 3 children AND after EVERY Sunday game there will be a FREE skate after the game with the Vipers!! Big Games This Weekend
First off I want to say sorry for not updating my blog in awhile! After I ate my Thanksgiving Turkey I caught a cold...but I am up and running now!
Now back to more important things...THE VERNON VIPERS!!!!!!
They have been playing so well and I am still waiting for a full house, I hope all you Vipers fans are telling everyone you know to come see a Vipers game! This weekend we have two very hard games and the more fan support the better. We play Westside Warriors on Friday night and it is also student night, so all students who show a student I.D. will get a ticket for only $5.00. Then on Saturday we will host the Victoria Grizzlies....this team is GOOD! And we won't get to see them in our arena again until the 2010-2011 season so make sure you have your seats. This season has been so exciting this year and it is a super close battle in the Interior Standings this is for sure the best hockey ANY WHERE! Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend and email info@vipers.bc.ca if you want to win a pair of tickets to each game!

What A Sunday Game!!
WOW! For anyone who missed Sundays game against Penticton...WOW you missed a GREAT game! No Vernon fan should miss another Vipers game this year, cause you never know when it's going to be a game everyone is talking about! The greatest part of it all was that we won 6-2 over the Penticton Vees! The Vipers have 2 more home games this weekend, Friday against Westside and Saturday against Merritt and I think it should be pretty close to a full house! In fact I actually got my hands on some tickets and would like to give them away to my loyal blog readers! Home Games This Weekend
The Vipers are finished their road trip, playing 5 games in 4 days and they got 5 out of a possible 8 points...which is really good! The Vipers will have 2 home games this weekend, the first is on Saturday Ocotber 4th when Vernon hosts the Trail Smoke Eaters and the second is on Sunday October 5th against the Penticton Vees. Don't forget to bring your skates to Sunday's game because right after the game everyone is invited to skate with the Vipers!! It's going to be be a great weekend of AWESOME hockey action...don't forget to tell everyone you know to come!
Vipers Are On The Road
The Vernon Vipers are on the road this week playing Powell River, Langley, Surrey and Burnaby starting this Wednesday but they will be back on home ice Saturday October 4th and Sunday October 5th...it will be the first Family Sunday Game with a FREE skate after the game with all the Vipers so don't forget your skates and all of your friends and family! We have yet to sell out the arena but we are getting pretty close! And don't forget you can listen to all the road games on 107.5 KISS FM or the BCHL FanZone with the voice of the Vipers, Todd Miller!! Can't wait to see all the Vipers fan at the next home game!

WESTSIDE IS COMING TO TOWN!!
Well another weekend has past and we split the games winning on the road against Westside, 4 to 2 and losing at home against Prince George, 3 to 1. We are still doing really well and this weekend we face Westside at home and hit the road on Saturday and go to Salmon Arm. It's going to be another busy weekend and lets hope we can finish both games with a win! I am really excited about the fans this year, I know it's hard to come to a hockey game when it is so nice out...I even saw people still swimming on Monday! But this year I think we have a fantastic team and every game is going to be exciting! Speaking of exciting...I was cleaning up my secret office the other day and found some great Vipers stuff that I thought I would put into one package and give it away to one lucky fan!! How do you enter to win you ask? Well I will do a draw, all Kids Club Members already have one entry but can get another by emailing info@vipers.bc.ca , please only send one email per person and include your name and phone number and I will do the draw before Friday so the winner can pick up the Fan Pack at the game on Friday! Well I hope you are all bringing everyone you know to Friday's game against Westside, we have to be the first team in the league to sell out their arena and I know Vernon can do it because we have the best fans in the whole BCHL and I know we can prove it! Oh and don't forget about the BBQ before the game starting at 6pm and the game starts at 7pm (but I know you knew that!!) See you Friday night!!!!

AWESOME HOME OPENER!!
WOW...what a home opener!! I knew we had the best fans in the league! Not only was there almost a full house you guys were loud and proud!!! And we won 4-1 against the Silverbacks! I hope to see everyone again this Saturday the Vipers were talking about how great the crowd was and I hope we can impress them again! On Saturday the 13th we host the Prince George Spruce Kings and being loud and proud can get your section some free car flags! And as you come in the doors we will be handing out our free fridge magnets!! Be here...bring all your neighbours, friends and family and lets get to a full house and once again win the title of best attendance in the league.....

Welcome back to another super exciting year of Vipers Hockey! I can't believe how fast the summer flies by! The Vipers Home Opener is Friday September 5th versus the Salmon Arm Silverbacks...puck drops at 7PM...and we have a TON of new promotions for each home game so there are LOTS of chances for the fans to win some great prizes from some of our sponsors!
