The Vernon Vipers were out working before the sun even came out on Tuesday morning as the official Olympic Stage came into town to get setup. With the torch set to come into Polson Park at noon, a lot of preparation had to go into making sure everything was ready to roll for the celebration and the Vipers were more then willing to get dirty (and cold) to make sure things would be ready!
"It was cold and early but it was fun to be part of the Olympics is some form. Its a once in a lifetime opportunity". Bryce Kakoske
"It was a lot of work to set the stag up, a lot goes into putting it up and making sure everything is working properly. I'm glad we had a chance to take part and help". Connor Jones
"I'm really impressed with the players that came out this morning. It was still dark when we first got to the park and they didn't stop till it was done. They kept asking if there was something else to do, they got dirty and it was pretty cold, but the Vipers did everything they were asked and worked really hard to get the job done" Heidi Schrader
