The Vernon Vipers were at Ora Restaurant on Tuesday night to help raise money for the Stair family by hosting, serving and busing with all tips going to a great cause.
Captain Kevin Kraus, who was greeting people as they came in, said "It was a lot of fun, I was taking reservations, seating people and ensuring everything was going smoothly! Ora is a really nice restaurant and everyone left happy and full."
"It was great to see the boys working hard for this great cause" Marketing Manager Heidi Schrader said, "some of our loyal fans came out to dine and all of them commented on how great the food was, one table even asked for the chef to come out so they could thank her! The Vipers also did a great job, making sure everyone got what they needed and had a chance to get to know the fans a bit better. I think it was fun for everyone."
The Vipers players and staff would like to thank general manager Trent and his staff at Ora for making Tips For Charity Night a great success and making it a fun and enjoyable evening.
